WALK AID: BRAIN IN A BOX
It's called the WalkAide System and it's designed to help people with paralysis walk easier. The device that looks like an iPod and is strapped just below the knee. With a push of a button, a gentle electric signal is sent from the brain to the foot telling it to lift at the appropriate time. It's something the brain can't do on its own.
